Founded in 1966, Meres International School is the only private Asturian centre accredited as an official international school by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization), one of the first in Spain to achieve this.
Our model of academic and educational excellence is aimed at girls and boys from 3 to 18 years old, based on the promotion of critical thinking, self-discipline and teamwork to train multidisciplinary, global and resilient students and people.

Academic Excellence

🔬✨ Día de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia ✨🔬
En nuestras aulas, la ciencia se vive cada día. Alumnas y alumnos se enfrentan a nuevos retos, hacen preguntas y buscan respuestas, guiados por profesoras como Soledad Boris (Biología) y Carmen Lauret (Física y Química), que inspiran con su conocimiento y dedicación.
Carmen recuerda a su profesora de Física en BUP y COU, una mujer que dejó huella en su camino y le mostró que la ciencia es un espacio donde cada persona puede brillar. Hoy, ese legado sigue vivo en alumnas como Lucía García-Rovés, de 1º de Bachillerato, que sueña con estudiar Medicina y dedicarse a comprender mejor el cuerpo humano.
